Creating an account is free for both clients and freelancers. Brief It charges a commission on completed transactions. Freelancers can also subscribe to premium plans for enhanced visibility and additional platform benefits.
How are payments handled?
All payments go through Brief It's secure wallet system in EGP. Funds are held safely until the project is completed and approved by the client. This protects both parties — clients only pay for approved work, and freelancers are guaranteed payment for work they deliver.
What happens if there's a dispute?
Brief It has a dedicated dispute resolution process. If a client and freelancer can't reach an agreement, either party can open a dispute through the platform. The Brief It team will review the case and mediate a fair resolution based on the original brief and any communications on the platform.
How do I post a brief?
Once you register as a client, click "Create a brief" from your dashboard. You'll be guided through a 3-step process: enter your project details and budget, describe your requirements and preferred freelancer profile, then review and publish. The whole process takes under 5 minutes.
Can I hire a freelancer directly without posting a brief?
Yes. You can browse freelancer profiles, review their portfolios and services, and send them a direct brief without publishing it publicly. This is ideal when you already know who you want to work with or want to keep your project confidential.
What marketing services can I find on Brief It?
Brief It covers the full spectrum of marketing and creative services, including brand identity, logo design, content creation, social media management, copywriting, video production, photography, digital advertising, SEO, art direction, and more. All freelancers on the platform are specialized in marketing-related fields.
How do I know the freelancer is qualified?
Every freelancer profile includes their portfolio, listed skills, client reviews, ratings, and project history. Verified freelancers have been reviewed by the Brief It team. You can also filter by experience level, skills, and past ratings to find the right match for your project.
How do I get started as a freelancer?
Register as a freelancer, complete your profile with your bio, skills, portfolio, and service offerings with pricing. Once your profile is live, you can start browsing and applying to client briefs, or wait to be discovered and receive direct briefs from clients searching for your skills.
How and when do I get paid?
Once a client approves your delivered work, the payment is released to your Brief It wallet. You can then withdraw your balance at any time. For milestone-based projects, each milestone is paid out as it's approved, so you don't have to wait until the full project is complete.
Can I set my own rates?
Yes, completely. You set your own pricing for each service you offer on your profile. When applying to briefs, you submit your own proposal with your preferred rate and timeline. Brief It does not dictate pricing — the rate is always agreed between you and the client.
What is a premium freelancer membership?
Premium membership is an optional paid plan that gives freelancers enhanced visibility in search results, profile boosts, advanced analytics on profile performance, and additional platform benefits.
